With the theme ‘Tech4NexGen’, BTS 2022 is scheduled to be held from November 16- 18 at the Bangalore Palace in Bengaluru
Startup Pavilion at the Exhibition is a star attraction with over 350+ Exhibitors whereas sessions under ‘Startup Track’ focus on the startup ecosystem

The Indian startup ecosystem has grown leaps and bounds over the years, taking the country to the 19th spot in the list of top 100 startup hubs of the world in 2021, with Bengaluru, Delhi-NCR and Mumbai finding place in the list of top 20 most promising startup hubs.
Out of these cities, Bengaluru is considered to be the biggest startup hub in the country, having earned the title of the world’s fastest-growing tech hub in 2021. Not only this, the city is also home to 44 unicorns out of the 107 Indian unicorns.
The state of Karnataka is home to over 9,500 DPIIT-registered tech startups and more than 4,000 active startup investors. These startups cumulatively secured a total funding of $63 Bn between 2014 to September 2022, of which 47% was accounted for by Bengaluru-based startups.
The proactive efforts and initiatives of the Karnataka government are among the factors promoting the city’s growth.
A case in point is the Bengaluru Tech Summit (BTS). With the aim to facilitate the growth of the tech and startup ecosystem and honour the ones taking the country’s growth story forward, the state government has been organising the BTS since 1998, and will be hosting its silver jubilee edition this month.
Organised by the state’s Department of Electronics, IT, BT and S&T (Information Technology, Bio Technology and Science & Technology), the summit is co-hosted by the Software Technology Parks of India (STPI).
With the theme ‘Tech4NexGen’, BTS 2022 is scheduled to be held from November 16-18, 2022 at the Bangalore Palace in Bengaluru. It will host Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the inaugural session.
BTS 2022 For Startups
The event provides a forum for dialogue exchange between industry leaders, startups, researchers and policymakers, and promotes collaborations and alliances. Heads of Fortune 500 businesses, nobel laureates and many other high-profile dignitaries from all over the world have all attended the event over the years.
The Karnataka government wants to step things up this year to provide businesses a one-of-a-kind forum to collaborate, network and showcase disruptive technologies. BTS 2022 will have over 70 sessions on the latest and potentially disruptive technologies, and will give the participants an opportunity to network with over 5,000 business delegates.
Leaders and companies from across the globe and segments will be participating in the summit, which also aims to boost the Indian startup economy.
Startup Pavilion At The BTS Exhibition
As a part of the BTS exhibition, Startup Pavilion will provide more than 350 entrepreneurs — across segments such as healthtech, agritech, edtech, rural technology, and more — an opportunity to showcase their innovative solutions to a larger audience.
It also aims to help the participating startups discuss the best ways to accelerate the growth of their companies with industry’s brightest minds, and forge partnerships with investors, business leaders, mentors, accelerators, policymakers, media, and analysts.
BTS has already onboarded many known innovators, leaders, incubators, and startups from India and abroad as attendees for the Startup Pavilion.

Unicorn Conclave & Felicitation
BTS 2022 will also host ‘Bengaluru Next Unicorns Conclave’ to bring together visionary leaders to celebrate their accomplishments, impart learnings from their journey, and discuss their future goals.
Through this, BTS will not only felicitate unicorns which have served as a unifying factor in the areas of technology, talent, partnerships, innovation, and the country as a whole but also help aspiring entrepreneurs in their journeys. The event also aims to help the state make its plans for its global rise.
