Founded in 2015, Rapido is a ride-hailing booking platform. The travel tech company initially started with bike taxi booking services, and later expanded with last-mile delivery, auto and cab services. As of 2025, Rapido operates in over 150 cities across India, with plans to expand to 500 cities. In 2025, Rapido launched a non-AC cab service to offer cheaper ride rates. As of August 2024, the unicorn has over 50% of India's bike taxi market, and as of May 2025, it currently holds over 20% market share in the four-wheeler ride-hailing sector. With a revenue of Rs 497.49 Cr in FY23, Rapido competes with companies including OLA, Meru Cabs and ZoomCar.
